Deiro García is a specialty coffee producer from Pitalito, Huila. When he bought the farm, he didn't have a name in mind, but after a day of watching the entire Harry Potter saga, which takes about 19 hours, he came up with the idea of calling it “Lord Voldemort”. No one thought it would attract so much attention, but it turned out to be a great complement to the excellent coffees he produced there. Right from the start, he experimented with coffee with the aim of getting the best possible result. His processing techniques include the use of yeasts, mash preparation, fruit fermentations and oxidations. At the moment, Deiro is part of the Huila Coffee Farmers association group, which seeks direct agreements with roasters'products, promoting stable relationships between producer and customer.
