Skills to be acquired
At the end of the course participants should be able to, in a test or practical test situation:
- Identify the characteristics of a perfect espresso;
- Define the concept of barista and the associated working materials;
- Identify the correct parameters in the espresso machine and their importance in the preparation of the coffee;
- Correctly tune the various grinders presented;
- Distinguish the different types of espresso extraction;
- Differentiate and execute correctly the operations at the beginning, during and end of the service, periodic and resin regeneration;
- Perform correctly the classic espresso drinks presented;
- Adjusting a mill with doser;
- Refine a mill on demand;
- Analyze the different extractions, making the necessary adjustments to achieve the perfect espresso;
- Prepare the classic espresso drinks presented;
- Carry out thorough cleaning and maintenance of the equipment and work space.
